We publish first-person accounts from real individuals who have experienced career transitions through professional certification. Each contributor's identity has been verified by our editorial team. Names may be abbreviated (first name + last initial) at the contributor's request for privacy.
Stories are submitted by contributors and lightly edited for clarity, grammar, and structure. We never change the substance of a contributor's experience. If an edit would alter the meaning of a story, we work with the contributor to find language they're comfortable with.
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. No certification program, university, or training institution can pay to be featured in a story. The programs mentioned in our articles are mentioned because the contributor chose them — not because of any editorial or financial arrangement.
Some articles contain links to programs referenced in the stories. We may receive referral compensation when readers click these links. These relationships are always disclosed through an Editor's Note at the end of the relevant article. Affiliate relationships never influence which stories we publish, how they're written, or which programs are mentioned.
Comments on our articles are moderated for relevance and civility. We do not remove critical or negative comments unless they violate our community guidelines (hate speech, spam, or personally identifying information). Author responses marked with the "Author" badge are from the original contributor.
If we publish information that is factually incorrect, we will issue a correction at the top of the article with a clear description of what was changed and when. To request a correction, email editors@certificationinsider.com.
